Dr. Jack Wann
Dr. jack Wann has spent his entire lifetime in theatre. In both the academic and the professional worlds, Dr. Wann has impacted hundreds of actors, students and colleagues all over the country. A proud Equity and SAG/AFTRA member throughout his career and a high profile university scholar, professor and administrator, he brings to SCCT the same “do good work well” philosophy that has been the hallmark of his earlier efforts. His “moving others” (his students and acting companies) to “move others” (the audience) has already made him a major asset to the “Gem on Main Street.” Quality productions, the nurturing of our upstairs experimental theatre, his teaching, and his recent excursions into playwriting have provided him with ever increasing outlets for his passionate love for the theatre and what it can do.
